YCCAC’s Transportation Program has partnered with Southern Maine Health Care (SMHC) with the development of a new pilot program that will operate between Springvale and Saco, servicing four of SMHC’s locations in the Sanford and Biddeford areas.  This new route, called the Southern Maine Connector (SMC), will begin service on Monday, February 3, 2020.  The SMC will operate Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 3:30pm, and offers connections to Sanford Transit at Nasson Health Care and SMHC Sanford Campus and Biddeford-Saco-OOB Transit (BSOOB) at SMHC Biddeford Campus, and the Saco Transportation Center.  The SMC also stops at several other locations along the route, including Market Basket and the Biddeford Walmart. The SMC is open to the public, is ADA compliant, and offers very reasonable fares.  Schedule and Fare information can be found at yccac.org on the Transportation webpage.
