Nasson Health Care is excited to announce the addition of a second intraoral digital scanner to our dental program. Recently, our practice acquired a new 3Shape TRIOS scanner, which will work alongside our existing iTero Element 5D system to enhance patient care, improve efficiency, and expand access to dental services.
Intraoral scanners are transforming the patient experience by replacing traditional dental impressions with highly accurate digital images. These scanners create detailed 3D models of a patient’s teeth and oral structures, allowing providers to diagnose conditions, plan treatment, and communicate more effectively with patients.
Adding a second scanner brings several important benefits:
Improved Access to Care
With two scanners available, more patients can benefit from digital imaging during their visits. This allows our dental team to integrate advanced technology into more appointments, reducing delays and supporting timely diagnosis and treatment planning.
Reliable Redundancy
Having a second scanner provides valuable backup should one unit require maintenance or service. This redundancy helps minimize disruptions and ensures that patients continue to receive high-quality care without unnecessary delays.
Enhanced Patient Education
Digital scans give patients a clear, visual understanding of their oral health. With two scanners available, hygienists and dentists can share real-time images with more patients, helping them better understand treatment recommendations and actively participate in their care decisions.
Greater Efficiency for Our Team
The addition of the 3Shape TRIOS scanner enables our clinical teams to work more efficiently by streamlining workflows and reducing time spent on traditional impression methods. This allows providers and staff to focus more time on patient care while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Investing in cutting-edge technology is one of the many ways we continue to strengthen our commitment to providing exceptional, patient-centered care. The addition of the 3Shape TRIOS scanner represents another step forward in delivering innovative dental services that improve the experience, outcomes, and access to care for the communities we serve.
