YCCAC has partnered with Youth Full Maine to deliver food boxes one day each week to families in the Biddeford and Dayton School Departments.
Established in 2019, Youth Full Maine is the first pilot replication of the Locker Room Project, which was founded in 2014 and based in Cumberland County. Youth Full Maine manages pantries and fresh produce distributions for all age schools, so that children who are food-insecure can take needed food home at night, for the weekends, and for long school breaks.
Beginning with a one-day per week service, YCCAC provides a driver and vehicle to deliver food boxes to 7 pre-determined stops; we will also deliver to directly to a student’s home, if the student or a family member is unable to come to the designated stop. Twenty to thirty food boxes are delivered per trip.

Tim, who normally drives The Wave bus out of Sanford, helped us deliver 30 bags of groceries to families all around Biddeford today(May 19). It was a tremendous help for us. Thank you all!”
