Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic in York County, YCCAC’s Head Start teachers have been true champions of their profession.

Their seamless transition from classroom to distance-education, combined with their genuine enthusiasm for teaching, have helped to create a fun and exciting learning experience for all. Using Zoom technology, Head Start children and their families have remained engaged and connected through:

• Enhanced reading, music, and movement time
• Nutrition, health, and wellness activities through Snap-Ed
• Toothbrushing routines
• Personal safety learning
• Conscious Discipline parenting groups
