A thank you card was left with a WIC staff member in the Sanford office early this week. The handwritten note, along with the card’s printed poem, is below.

Dear WIC,

What a huge impactful difference you all provide to the community. I’m forever grateful for all the support my family and I have received over the years. You have made our lives so much better, and I cannot thank you enough.

The words “thank you”
Hardly seem enough.

But they’re coming
From my heart.

A heart uplifted
By your kindness.
