YCCAC’s Housing Navigation team—Jennifer Davie and Heather Van Gieson—came together in person for a hands‑on budgeting workshop with our partner New Ventures Maine as part of our Housing Navigation pilot. The session centered on practical tools to help families better understand their income, expenses, and financial pressures, and to identify realistic pathways toward housing stability. Strengthening these economic tools supports not just rent and utilities, but overall financial well‑being and long‑term stability for households working toward secure housing.
We’re grateful to the partners who help make this work possible, including John T. Gorman Foundation, Biddeford School Department, and MaineHousing.
