The Shipyard Sprinter is a new commuter service from Sanford and Wells to the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.

As a Shipyard Sprinter Driver, you’ll avoid parking hassles as you drive your coworkers to and from the Sanford area to the Shipyard.

• As a driver, you’ll earn extra income!
  • Serving two shifts: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

• As a rider, you’ll experience a free ride!
  • Shipyard Employees – the service is eligible for a monthly pass through the TIP program.

• The service will have three stops in Sanford and one in Wells, for travel to and from the Shipyard:
  • School Street municipal lot (Corner of School and Mousam)
  • Ocean State Job Lot
  • Lowe’s
  • Wells Transportation Center
• Brand new comfortable Ford Transit vans.
• Riders will be eligible for an emergency ride home if needed during the work day.
