Join Maine Community Action Partnership (MeCAP) and Maine’s ten Community Action Agencies on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 to hear results from the State of Maine’s first comprehensive Community Needs Assessment. The press conference will be held at 9:30 am at the courtyard between the Statehouse and Cross Office Building. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held indoors at the offices of Consumers for Affordable Health Care, 108 Sewall St (across the parking lot and road from the COB)
MeCAP is a statewide organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of Maine people by advocating for, promoting and supporting the work of the Maine community action agencies. The assessment was directed by MeCAP and included surveys, focus groups and other data provided collectively by the ten community action agencies in Maine with consultant Crescendo Consulting Group of Portland. The findings from this first statewide assessment and are now available and will be shared, including the top five statewide needs.
Individuals, organizations, and members of the media are encouraged to attend the event to learn more about findings and to ask any follow up questions they may have. Limited printed copies of the report will be available at the event and the electronic version can be found on the MeCAP website at: mecap.org/CAN
