Starting November 1, you can apply for new 2019 health insurance — or renew, change, or update your 2018 health plan for 2019. Open Enrollment for 2019 runs November 1, 2018 to December 15, 2018.

Outside the Open Enrollment Period, you generally can enroll in a health insurance plan only if you qualify for a Special Enrollment Period. You’re eligible if you have certain life events, like getting married, having a baby, or losing other health coverage.

YCCAC has two health insurance navigators to help York County residents as they look for health coverage options through the Marketplace. They can also assist with completing eligibility and enrollment forms, and are required to be unbiased. Their services are free to consumers.
