WAVE Driver Jennifer Sprague Joins Drive to “Light Up The Night”

York County Community Action’s WAVE driver Jennifer Sprague has set up a lighthouse lamp in a window of her home as part of the Brick Store Museum’s Light Up The Night community campaign.

The Brick Store Museum, in Kennebunk, is asking people to put a light in a window to recognize the many individuals who are working, often at great personal risk, to help us all during these difficult days. The request is to “Light a (electric-powered) candle, string light, lamp, or any kind of light in your window each evening at dusk, starting now through the end of this pandemic.”

Jennifer herself is one of the “front line” workers helping to keep our community safe, stable, and vigorous as possible during this time of self-isolation. Dot Morin, Assistant Transportation Director, Operations, says of Jennifer: “She’s great! She has been driving a WAVE van this whole time” (during the pandemic).

Thank you, Jennifer! And thanks to all YCCAC staff who are not able to work remotely, but whose jobs are imperative for the health and wellbeing of so many in our community.
