With the mission of assisting families toward greater independence, the Family Independence Program combines affordable housing and case management. Six families may live in YCCAC-owned apartments in Sanford or Springvale for up to two years, and while in residence, work toward the achievement of self-defined goals. Outreach staff act as coaches, and encourage and support these families in transition.
